This nearly 4-hour VDOS event is ideal for residents in preparation for the AVDC or EVDC practical examination and veterinarians having a desire to specialize. Selected procedures in periodontics (open periodontal debridement, gingival cleft repair with laterally positioned flap, crown lengthening with apically positioned flaps, guided tissue regeneration with bone grafting, and partial tooth resection) are reviewed in detail and discussed based on anticipated grading criteria.
