This VDOS webinar will discuss the most common oral tumors in dogs and cats, including malignant melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, fibrosarcoma, acanthomatous ameloblastoma, peripheral odontogenic fibroma, and a few others. Biopsy methods will be reviewed and further work-up explained. Treatment options will be outlined, focusing on hard and soft tissue resections, including maxillectomy, mandibulectomy, glossectomy, lip/cheek resection, and regional lymph node removal.
