This VDOS webinar will review the indications, biomechanics, equipment/instrument/material needs, and techniques of tooth extraction in dogs and cats. Closed and open techniques will be described step-by-step, including the creation of flaps in one jaw quadrant and the use of high-speed tools for sectioning of teeth and removal of alveolar bone. Tips will be shared on how to make tension-free flaps for wound closure.
