The educational experience in dentistry and oral surgery is enhanced by participation in VDOS clinical rounds and journal clubs. A mixture of case-/topic-based learning, interactive discussion, and article review provide opportunities for direct communication with the teacher. The topic discussed during the 2.5-hour online event is about evidence-based professional and home oral hygiene measures in dogs and cats.
